Breakfast Club
Our school Chaplain, Chappy Kyra, works
with local community members to provide a weekly breakfast program at no
cost, available to all school students from 8am every Tuesday and Wednesday.
School Choir
The Maroochydore SS Choir meets every Monday in the Music Room from 10.30am until 11.00am. Students from Year 3 and above are welcome to attend. The songs are modern and fun, the atmosphere non-stressful and performance opportunities are provided throughout the year. Students learn to sing in part harmony and read notated music which can enhance other musical pursuits.
Computers and Internet
To ensure that the
latest technologies are accessible to all students, our school provides all
students in Prep – year 6 with an ipad to use at school.
Our school also has a
fully functioning computer lab in our resource center and four mini labs amongst
the classrooms. Teachers use these
technologies to help deliver the current Australian curriculum and prepare
children for their future.
There is no requirement or need for students to bring
their own computer devices to school.
