Maroochydore State School engages students in a learning community that
encourages excellence, supports diversity, and fosters innovation. We are proud
to be part of the #qldtechschools pilot, Minecraft Education Edition pilot and
Makerspace project.
Our Curriculum programs are based on the Australian National Curriculum. All of our staff have a strong focus on
student engagement, supporting individual achievement by providing a place of
challenging activities and whole learning through inspiring teaching and
learning opportunities. Our Curriculum
Framework allows for flexibility in implementation, to allow teachers to be
responsive to the needs and interests of the students, within the parameters of
the requirements of Education Queensland.
The Australian Curriculum is designed
to help all young Australians to become successful learners, confident and
creative individuals, and active and informed citizens. Students develop capability when they apply
knowledge and skills confidently, effectively and appropriately in complex and
changing circumstances, in their learning at school and in their lives outside
school.
